Individual therapy includes confidential and convenient in person or telehealth for children, adolescents and young adults
Where: We currently provide therapy for patients living in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and Colorado.
For local patients, walk and talk sessions at our beautiful local trails and parks are also offered.
We use an integrative approach and bring together a variety of theories, techniques and empirical research. Every patient receives an individualized approach to help you accomplish your goals. Ultimately, the best predictor of successful therapy will be the quality and strength of the relationship between you and your therapist.
We primarily draw from a range of evidence-based frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on coping strategies and the intersection between thoughts, feelings and behaviors, Mindfulness, which focuses on non-judgmental awareness, Collaborative Problem Solving, which involves engaging kids in solving identified challenges, Behavioral Theory, which applies our understanding of how behavior works to real-life situations with your child, and Exposure and Response Prevention for those facing fears and compulsive behaviors.
