I have been working with kids, teens, and families for over ten years. Whether it has been in a children’s hospital, an intensive program, or a small community practice, I have continued to learn and grow alongside my patients.
I believe that trust, compassion and a sense of humor allow for a strong therapeutic relationship. My philosophy is that all of us - kids, parents, and people - do well when we are able to do well. It’s a tough time to be a parent and a really tough time to be a kid. Still, kids are amazing, resilient humans, and I’ve had the honor to watch so many grow in really meaningful ways.
Whether you’re a teen feeling pressure to be the best or a parent who feels tired of yelling, my hope is that you always feel comfortable enough with me to face what feels uncomfortable. Your story and your goals will direct our work together, using tools and a framework of understanding rooted in evidence. I’m an imperfect mom of two who loves getting outside, Wisconsin summers, dance parties and tacos. I can’t wait to meet you.
